political parties historically suffer from “ideological drift”. they have founding principles, but those become muddled over time. to prevent this, i think the party logo should be imbued with a ideological anchors — visual elements that clearly call out the core philosophy. so here’s my dalle-powered rough draft of a logo for the new liberal party/movement. it has four distinctive visual elements, that i think are the best synopsis of the core values of neoliberalism:

  • liberty (the torch)
  • equality (the balanced scale; a subtle paean to not just things like gay rights about also wealth redistribution)
  • globalism (the globe emoji)
  • the purple color, which alludes to being somewhat of a hybrid between the traditional left and right parties
